Hi, I’m Chris Thornton from Thornsoft Development, Inc. I’m the author of ClipMate, a popular clipboard extender for Windows, and I’ve been selling it online since 1991.
As a Shareware developer since the days of floppy diskettes on magazine covers, I’ve seen just about every new idea that’s come along. Some are good, some are doomed from the start. TrialPay is really the first good one in a long time. I first heard about it at the 2006 Shareware Conference in Denver Colorado. I was amazed. Just when you think all the good ideas are taken, they come up with the idea for signing people up for Discover cards, as a way to sell Shareware for “free” (TrialPay and I share the commission from Discover, and the end-user gets a ClipMate registration key for free!) Discover, Blockbuster, Tivo, and over 100 other companies are participating. But you probably know all that.
When I started implementing TrialPay, there weren’t a lot of Examples out there. Michael Burford from Headlight Software (makers of GetRight) was a good resource, and TrialPay had some screenshots of “buy now” pages and such. But I wanted CODE!
My installer uses Inno Setup, so I went looking for an example of an uninstaller script that gave the TrialPay offer. There wasn’t any. Then I wanted to automate the keygen fulfillment so that users could get their keys automatically. Sorry, no code for that either. So I developed it all myself. Feeling pretty proud of my Inno Uninstaller, I uploaded it to the 3rd-party forum at the beginning of June. Nobody seems to have noticed. So, I figured I’d make it available on my website someday. However, at the END of June, TrialPay announced their referral program. So I figured that was a good excuse to put all of this on the web, and maybe pick up some $$$ through referrals. So if you like this resource, please consider signing up for TrialPay with our referral link: http://merchant.trialpay.com/ref?tp=QreQl

Hi Chris;
I’ve tried to implement your product but it didn’t work. I use Tiga Theme. When I activated your plug-in, I wasn’t able to configure it. So, I had to deactivate it.
Thanks,
