Widget Plugin for WordPress

We have written a “widget” plug-in for WordPress. It’s available now, and it’s open-source. Please download it directly from the WordPress Widget Library. You can see an example right in the sidebar on this page, and there’s a static screenshot right here –>.
Installation
- Download the plugin.
- Unzip the file into the WordPress directory: /wp-content/plugins/ - The plugin should reside in its own directory.
- Activate the “TrialPay Widget” plugin from the Word Press plugin page.
- Go to the WordPress “Presentation page”, then open the “Widgets” page.
- Drag/Drop the TrialPay Widget from the widget palette onto the sidebar dock.
- Double-click the TrialPay Widget to configure. You can leave the defaults if you’re just looking to see what it does, but come back later to input YOUR TrialPay store.
- SAVE, and now your widget should be “live” on your site.
Configuration (Widgets page of WordPress Dashboard)
You have full control over the following aspects:
- TrialPay Store URI (the URL that points to your TrialPay store)
- Graphic URI (Use any graphic you want, or keep using ours)
- Title (Optional) - short text on top
- Footer Text (Optional) - Text below the graphic - MAY contain HTML, if you’re careful.
Configuration is done in the WordPress dashboard. Go to Presentation, then Widgets. You’ll see the “TrialPay Widget” in your palette of widgets. Drag/drop to the sidebar, along with your other widgets. Double-click on it, to open the configuration screen. To enable you to do a quick test, all settings are populated with default values. Please change when your TrialPay store is ready for traffic.
